GUWAHATI: The Assam Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday issued a Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) to be followed for the reopening of the Cinema Halls across Assam.
Assam government has issued the SOP as a preventive measure to fight COVID-19 and the rules and regulations are to be followed in Cinema Hall Complexes across the state.
According to the latest guidelines, the cinema halls will start operating with 50 per cent of seating capacity and keeping the distance of one-seat between people.
Some key guidelines issued for the reopening of Cinema halls are:
- Entry and Exit points
- Seating Arrangements.
- Physical Distancing Norms.
- Staggered Show Timings at Multiplexes.
- Booking and Payments.
- General Guidelines.
Earlier, the Centre told the States to reopen cinema halls from October 15, 2020.
