GUWAHATI: The female employees with children below 5 years of age and pregnant women working under the Government of Assam will not attend offices in view of COVID-19 pandemic. SAD (Secretariat Administration Department) Commissioner and Secretary M Angamuthu issued a circular on Friday announcing a new set of rules of attendance for the government employees during the fourth phase of lockdown. This order will remain effective till May 31.
According to the new set of rules, female employees with children below 5 years of age need not attend office during the lockdown till May 31. The persons with co-morbidities and pregnant woman shall work from home.
