Guwahati: In a tragic road accident, a father and son were killed at Besimari in Darrang district in the wee hours of Thursday morning when the vehicle they were travelling hit another.
According to reports, the father-son and the driver were traveling in a Bolero pick-up bearing registration number AS-06-AC-6981 from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh to Barpeta.
The driver of the Bolero pick-up vehicle lost control and hit a parked truck from behind killing the passengers on spot. The truck bearing registration number AS-25-BC-0810 was transporting gas cylinders.
On the other hand, the driver of the Bolero was seriously injured.
