GUWAHATI: Senior BJP leader and Assam finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is giving impetus to BJP’s campaign for Assam assembly elections with his grand road shows. Dr. Sarma on Tuesday took part in a bike rally in Biswanath of middle Assam.
The rally witnessed massive support from the BJP workers and local people. The party has fielded Promod Borthakur on the Biswanath seat.
Later, Sarma will also hold rallies at Sarupathar, Borsola and Tezpur.
Earlier on Monday, the NEDA convenor addressed election rallies at Behali, Gohpur and Lakhimpur.
