GUWAHATI: With a remarkable rate, Assam has crossed the 7 lakh-mark in terms of COVID-19 tests on Thursday. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stated in a tweet that the number of tests till Thursday reached 723,287.
On Thursday alone, 19,913 tests were conducted in the state.
“In last 24hrs, we carried out 19,913 tests, with cumulative numbers reaching 723,287,” health minister Sarma mentioned in a tweet.

Assam has so far reported total 28791 COVID-19 cases. On Thursday, 1047 fresh case were recorded in the state. Currently, there are 8019 active cases with 20699 recoveries.
