Guwahati: The Annual Awards of the Assam Cricket Association(ACA) was organized at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on Friday. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, along with the office bearers of ACA, president Romen Dutta and secretary Devajit Saikia were present on the occasion.
Sonowal also presented the awards at the event. Ranjeet Mali received the Player of the Season award. Dasarath Kumar received the Promising player of the season and Subhrajit Saikia got the Coach of the Season award.
Assam CM Sonowal tweeted, “Glad to present the first Annual Awards of Assam Cricket Association (ACA) at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati. Assam Cricket is on the rise, and I am sure this annual award will further encourage cricketers, coaches, and organizers to do their best for the sport.” The ‘Player of the Season Award’, ‘Coach of the Season Awar’ and ‘Promising Player of the Season Award’ was also introduced by ACA.”
