GUWAHATI: In a major achievement in the fight against COVID-19, Assam has conducted more than 55 lakh tests from February 7 to December 8 in 2020, informed Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Taking to Twitter, Dr. Sarma wrote, “Assam completed 5 million (55 lakhs +) #COVID19 tests between Feb 7 to Dec 8, 2020, averaging 5 lakh (half million) tests per month. My salute to our health workers and officials. Together, we are determined to fight the pandemic.”
