Assam CM’s son Nandil Biswa Sarma contributes to CM Relief Fund

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s son Nandil Biswa Sarma contributed an amount of Rs. 2000 to Assam CM Relief Fund from his savings on Tuesday. The information was shared by CM Sarma himself through a Tweet.

The Chief Minister Tweeted, “Touched!
My son Nandil contributed Rs 2000 to #AssamCMReliefFund from his savings. Feeling proud as father. I thank you Nandil. #InThisTogether,” Himanta Biswa Sarma Tweeted.

It is to be mentioned that Assam chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has appealed to the people of the state to contribute to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund or Assam Arogya Nidhi. CM Sarma requested the people for their contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This fund will enable micro-donations as a result of which a large number of people will be able to contribute with smallest of denominations.

CM Relief fund shall be utilized at the discretion of the Chief Minister in such a manner, as he does fit and proper to render financial assistance, relief to deserving persons/institutions,” stated the official website.
