Assam CM to meet PM Modi, HM Shah and other ministers today in Delhi

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national on Tuesday.

CM Sarma reached New Delhi on Monday for a three-day visit. During his three-day Delhi tour, CM Sarma will also home minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. 

He is also scheduled to meet defence minister Rajnath Singh and national security advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. 

Several key issues concerning the Northeast will be taken up by the Assam chief minister during his meetings with PM Modi, HM Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Doval. 

On Monday CM Sarma met Junaid Kamal Ahmad, Country Director, India, of World Bank in New Delhi.

Taking to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “My pleasure to have met Mr Junaid Kamal Ahmad, Country Director, India, @WorldBank today in New Delhi. I am very happy and glad to share that we are taking Assam’s partnership with World Bank to the next, & higher level. @JUNAIDWBG.”
