Guwahati: As India celebrates its 75th Independence day, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid his rich tributes to our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and fought with great valour at Shraddhanjali Kannan in Guwahati.
The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the martyrs of the state.
Taking to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “On 75th #IndependenceDay I pay my finest tributes to our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and fought with great valour. Pursuing their ideals, we reiterate our solemn commitment to enrich Indian values and ethos, and work for a ‘New India’. जय हिंद”.

CM Sarma is now present at Khanapara Veterinary field and addressing the state marking the celebrations of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
