GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of Chabua Indoor Stadium and Stadium of Chabua Sports Association in Chabua town under Dibrugarh district of Assam.
The stadium will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.33 crore and Rs.9.87 crore respectively. The upcoming stadium will give a boost to the new era of sports infra in Assam.
CM Sonowal sharing the news tweeted, “At Chabua, Dibrugarh, CM Shri @sarbanandsonwal laid the foundation stone of:

> Stadium of Chabua Sports Association.
To be constructed at a cost of ₹ 2.33 cr and ₹ 9.87 cr respectively, the stadiums will herald a new era of sports infra in Assam.”
