Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma condoled the death of the five YouTubers who tragically died this afternoon following a road accident.
Taking to the official Twitter handle, the chief minister office said, “CM Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his deep sorrow over the death of 5 persons at a road accident at Besimari, Darrang. The CM offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families & prayed for the quick recovery of the 3 injured persons.”

Notably, five people died in an accident on the National Highway-15 in Assam’s Darrang district on Sunday. All of the five deceased have been identified as Youtubers.
The accident took place on National Highway 15 at Besimari area under Dalgaon police station in Darrang district.
A car with a total of eight passengers collided with a truck on the expressway. The eight passengers were returning from a shoot when their car met with the accident.
A police official from Darrang district said that a car coming from Tezpur side towards Mangaldoi collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
“Five people in the car died on the spot, and three other passengers were seriously injured in the incident.”
The deceased were identified as Faridul Islam, Azad Ali, Ibrahim Ali, Manjuwara Begum, and Sania Akhtar, all of whom were residents of Darrang district.
Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to Mangaldoi civil hospital and then referred to Guwahati.
