Assam: Case to be registered against Dhubri COVID19 patient Jamaluddin

GUWAHATI: The assam Government will file case against Jamaluddin Haji, a COVID19 positive patient from Chapar area of Dhubri district. Case will be filed against Jamaluddin for deliberately concealing his travel history and not following precautions against COVID19.

Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the government would file case against Jamaluddin Haji for not cooperating with the health department. He led a normal life after his return from Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi. He also visited doctors as a regular patient at Bongaigaon Civil Hospital which led to quarantine the doctors of the hospital. Jamaluddin came into close contact with several people after his return from Nizamuddin. The 29th patient Rahimuddin from Bilasipaara in Dhubri district also came into contact with Jamaluddin Haji.

Jamaluddin, a resident of Kajipara part two of Chapar tested COVID19 positive on Tuesday.
