GUWAHATI: Union Minister of Textiles and Women and Child Development Smriti Irani arrived in Mariani on Saturday afternoon to campaign for the Assam Assembly Elections.
Irani will address three rallies in Assam where she will campaign for Mariani candidate Ramani Tanti, Sivasagar candidate Surabhi Rajkonwar and Samaguri candidate Anil Saikia.
It is to be mentioned that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be taking part in various rallies in Assam to campaign for the BJP candidates.
Rajnath Singh will arrive in Assam on March 14(Sunday) and will address three rallies in Biswanath, Gohpur, and Dergaon.
On the other hand, Amit Shah will address public rallies in Margherita and Nazira on March 14(Sunday). Later he will attend an event in Guwahati on March 15(Monday).
