GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma termed the Asha, Multipurpose Workers (MPW) and Surveillance Workers of the health department as the real heroes in the fight against Coronavirus.
Speaking to News Live chief managing editor Syed Zarir Hussain during his show ‘Prekhyapat’, minister Sarma termed the front-line staff of the department as the real heroes.
“Asha, MPWs and Surveillance Workers are our real heroes. They are doing whatever is required. They are doing tremendous job. It is a huge effort,” said Dr. Sarma.
