GUWAHATI: Union home minister Amit Shah who is in his Assam tour visited Kamakhya Devalaya in Guwahati on Sunday.
The union home minister was accompanied by Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
“Along with Sri Shah, we paid our obeisance to Maa and sought her divine grace to keep guiding us in our pursuit of peace, prosperity and progress for all,” Dr Sarma tweeted.

Later Shah will address a function at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra where he will launch several schemes of the state government.
The union home minister was accorded a warm welcome at Lokpriya Gopinat Bordoloi International Airport by CM Sarma.
