Amit Shah, Pema Khandu and other Political Leaders Condole Death Of Senior journalist Rohit Sardana

Guwahati: Renowned TV journalist Rohit Sardana succumbed to the deadly COVID-19 infection on Friday. Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary informed about his untimely demise through a tweet.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Arunachal CM Pema Khandu, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, MP Subhash Chandra and other political leaders condoled the death of the senior journalist.

Taking to the twitter Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday  wrote, “Pained to learn about Shri Rohit Sardana ji’s untimely demise. In him, the nation has lost a brave journalist who always stood up for unbiased and fair reporting. May God give his family the strength to bear this tragic loss. My deepest condolences to his family and followers.”

Arunachal Pradesh CM Khandu also expressed his grief and wrote, ” Shocked to learn about untimely demise of a promising journalist Shri #RohitSardana Ji. Your good work will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences. Prayers for strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss. May the soul of the departed attain salvation! ॐ शान्ति।”

Sports Minister Rijiju also took to his Twitter and wrote, “I’m deeply shocked & saddened to hear heartbreaking news of senior journalist Rohit Sardana’s demise. He was a fearless and straightforward journalist. May his departed soul rest in peace #RohitSardana”

Sardana, who had a long and very successful association with the Zee Media, has left the media world in a state of utter shock.  

He had hosted ‘Taal Thok Ke’, a popular debate programme that discusses contemporary issues in India on Zee News.
