Guwahati: Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam, which was released in 2015, was a huge hit. The film was the Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam film of the same name that was released in 2013. Now, Ajay has kickstarted the shooting of Drishyam 2. The actor shared a picture with his co-star Shriya Saran and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak on social media.
Ajay Devgn will soon be seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s Rudra. The actor has now started shooting for his much-awaited film Drishyam 2. Sharing a picture from the sets, Ajay wrote, “Can Vijay protect his family again? #Drishyam2 shoot begins. @tabutiful @shriya_saran1109 @abhishekpathakk @kumarmangatpathak (sic).”

Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran will be reprising their roles of Vijay Salgaonkar and Nandini Salgaonkar in the film. The two actors play husband and wife in Drishyam.
Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam is an emotional thriller that deals with the story of a cable operator Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay), whose life revolves around cinema and his family; wife Nandini (Shriya Saran) and daughters Anju and Anu. Tabu plays the role of IG Meera Deshmukh in the film.
