GUWAHATI: On the occasion of the 74th Independence Day Kamrup Superintendent of Police Partha Sarathi Mahanta has dedicated a poem to the great jawans of the Indian Army who made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty.
The heart touching poem ‘Ekuri Jibon Ekuri Coffin’ by Partha Sarathi Mahanta has been translated into Hindi as “Bis Tabut Main Kaid..Bis Bahar”.
The translation and recitation has been done by Bollywood actor from Assam Urmilaa Mahanta. The music is by Anurag Saikia and the video is edited by Samujjal Kashyap.
The poem is dedicated to our brave soldiers who are always ready to make the supreme sacrifice for the country.
