GUWAHATI: Counting of votes for the Panchayat and two municipal bodies in Arunachal Pradesh is underway. In the Pasighat Municipal Council, BJP has won 6 wards of the total 8.
Opposition Congress managed to win the remaining 2 seats. In the Itanagar Municipal Corporation, from the 15 wards of the total 20 where polling was held, JD(U) has won 4 wards.
The counting for the remaining 11 seats are on.
It is to be mentioned that the voting for the panchayat and municipal bodies concluded on Tuesday(December 22).
