GUWAHATI: Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
CM Singh Tweeted, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self isolate and get tested.”

It is to be mentioned that Manipur reported five more COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 218. So far, the state has registered 21636 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 3084 active and 18,334 recoveries. The recovery rate in the state is 84.73 per cent.
