GUWAHATI: Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary that was closed for around six months for COVID-19 reopens for public from Tuesday.
Assam State Forest and Environment Minister Parimal Suklabaidya along with Minister Pijush Hazarika and Assam Tourism Development Corporation, Chairman Jayanta Malla Baruah were present in the opening ceremony of the sanctuary on Tuesday.
Minister Parimal Suklabaidya Tweeted,” (1/2)Along with Hon’ble MoS Shri @Pijush_hazarika, Hon’ble ATDC Chairman Shri @jayanta_malla today attended the opening ceremony of Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary for tourists for the session 2020-21.”
