GUWAHATI: With the detection of 258 new COVI-19 cases in the state, the total tally in Assam rose to 2,03,967 on Saturday, informed state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.

Two more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease in Assam on Saturday, taking the state’s overall death tally to 902.
The deceased have been identified as Binan Chandra Das (64) of Kamrup Metro and Dhananjay Roy (61) of Goalpara.
