GUWAHATI: Four more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the infection on Friday. With this, the death toll in the state has reached 900. On the other hand, among the fresh fatalities, a 25-year-old girl lost her life to COVID-19. Usha Bordoloi from Morigaon in Middle Assam died due to the infection.
The other victims include— Sunil Swami (60) and Maya Gurung (60) from Sonitpur and Umesh Chandra Das (70) from Kamrup (Metropolitan).
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed his grief over the loss of lives.
