GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma laid foundation stone of an auditorium with 1,000 seat capacities in Ratabari constituency of the Barak Valley on Friday. The auditorium will be constructed with a cost of Rs. 13 crore.
Minister Sarma also visited Patharikandi and announced two road projects.
“Two road projects; Kanhai Bazar-Patharkandi (Rs 22 cr) & Asimganj-Anipur (Rs 10 cr); are going to start soon. Today, on my visit to Patharkandi, I inspected the site along with PWD Officials. Also, interacted with local people. Gratitude to all for felicitating me with affection,” Dr. Sarma said in a social media post.
He also urged the people to wear face mask and maintain social distance to avoid COVID-19 infection.
