GUWAHATI: Three cadres of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA-Independent) were arrested in Arunchal Pradesh on their way from Myanmar. A team of Assam Rifles reportedly arrested the militants from Khonsa area of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday morning.
The ULFA (I) cadres have been identified as Hironiya Moran alias Goda Asom, Sanjay Bora alias Kabir Asom and Nayan Gogoi alias Ranjan Asom. Security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the insurgents who were trained in Myanmar.
