GUWAHATI: In a landmark achievement in the fight against COVID-19, Assam has completed 20 lakh tests on Tuesday.
“ASSAM COMPLETES 20 LAKH #COVID TESTS! Our PER MILLION TEST is now 58356,” Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the proud moment on Twitter.

From setting up the first laboratory on February 7, the state has achieved the remarkable feat of conducting 20 lakh tests with 17 laboratories today.
So far, Assam has recorded 92,619 tests with 73,090 recoveries. Currently, there are 19,274 active cases in the state.
