GUWAHATI: With the relaxations and modifications of rules under unlock 3 in Assam, people thronged Beltola market in Guwahati. Gatherings were noticed at shops selling fish, meat and vegetables in the market.
Violations of weekend lockdown at the Beltola market has also been reported earlier. It seems the police and District Administration is not taking strict actions against such violations.
In Guwahati the restriction on opening of shops on one side of the road has been withdrawn, while inter-district movement of people will be allowed between Monday and Friday.
ASTC buses, City buses and other public transport vehicles were also seen plying on the roads of Guwahati from Monday morning.
