GUWAHATI: Maintaining the impressive recovery rate in Assam, 985 COVID-19 patients were discharged from different hospitals and COVID care centre on Sunday. With this, the total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in the state reached 24040. While, Assam has reported total 32228 cases, there are 8106 active cases as of now.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote in a tweet,“Large number of patients going back home everyday is an outcome of great efforts being put by our doctors. Gratitude!”
