Guwahati: As the number of Covid-19 cases rises in Assam, the government has been trying their best to take measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday visited Sonapur District Hospital and Sarusajai Stadium to review treatment facilities and infrastructures.
Dr. Sarma also did interact with the with doctors, nurses and cleaning staff and appreciated them for their remarkable & selfless contribution in Assam’s fight against the pandemic. He also met the patients and conditions. enquired about their health

Dr Sarma , in the evening visited Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati.
Taking to his Twitter Dr. Sarma said, ” Sarusajai Stadium has been playing a vital role in our fight against #COVID from initial stages. From being a quarantining facility to screening centre, it has served us well. Visited the screening center here & reviewed work with health officials. #AssamCares”
