Himanta, you are working too hard: Sonowal

GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister (CM) Sarbananda Sonowal has wished speed recovery of health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma as the later has been detected with kidney stone on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, Sonowal writes, “Himanta, you are working too hard, without giving much attention to your health. Your health & well-being are very precious for the people. Do get well soon. Our good wishes are always with you.”

On the other hand, health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma replied, “Thank you dada for your wishes.”

Dr. Sarma was diagnosed with kidney stone at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati. Doctors detected a kidney stone measuring 3.76 mm through Ulltra Sono Graphy in VUJ position.

After Dr. Sarma shared the news on Twitter, wishes started to pour in for his speedy recovery.

Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh writes on Twitter, “Wishing you a speedy and full recovery, @himantabiswa ji.”

Tripura deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma tweeted, “Assam has done extremely well in fighting with Covid-19 Menace under the dynamic leadership of @himantabiswa Ji. We all are aware of your extraordinary efforts Himanta Ji. Since you are unwell, please take a very gud care of yourself. Hope to see you in action very soon”
