Assam: 29 COVID-19 patients discharged

GUWAHATI: Twenty-nine COVID-19 patients have been discharged from different hospitals of Assam on Thursday, informed Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter. The patients have been discharged after they had tested negative twice FOR covid-19.

The recovered patients include—14 from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati, 5 from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) at Barpeta, 4 from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH), 3 from Golaghat Civil Hospital, 1 from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and 2 from Dhemaji Civil Hospital.

With the discharge of these 29 patients, the number of recovered patients in Assam has increased to 442. While Assam has reported total 1877 COVID-19 cases so far, there are 1428 active cases in the State.
