GUWAHATI: Twenty-eight more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam, tweeted Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. With the addition of new cases, the COVID-19 count in Assam has reached 1513.
Among the 28 patients, 12 persons are from Nagaon, 10 from Golaghat, 1 from Jorhat and 5 air travellers.
So far on Tuesday, the State has reported 28 cases. The number of active cases stands at 1222.
