GUWAHATI: Twenty two COVID-19 patients have been discharged from different hospitals of Assam on Sunday. The patients have been discharged after they had tested negative for COVID-19.
Among the discharged patients, 16 patients are from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati, 4 from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH), 2 from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH).
With the discharge of 22 patients today, the number of recovered people stands at 185. Currently, there are 1080 active cases in the State.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “ Discharge Alert Glad to share that 22 more patients have been discharged today after they tested negative for #COVID19 twice.
