GUWAHATI: Reacting to the unruly behaviour of some people over the food quality at COVID-19 quarantine centres Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that this is not a wedding party.
“We have not organised a wedding party. There are some practical problems. People should realise that,” said Dr. Sarma.
He also stated that such unruly behaviour at quarantine centre will lead to 14-day extension of quarantine period.
Though the Assam Government has been asserting on ruthless quarantine but with human heart, violations of quarantine norms have been reported at different quarantine centres in the State.
