Guwahati: The Kamrup (Metro) District administration on Thursday removed containment zone tags from the residential area covering B. Baruah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Amiyo Nagar and Girls Hostel of Regional Dental College in Guwahati.
As no further case has been detected from these areas since the declaration of containment zones, the orders of containment zones have been withdrawn from these locations.
All restriction imposed in connection with containment zone are withdrawn accordingly, the orders by the deputy commissioner stated.
However, the residents of these three areas are advised to follow all the protocols for preventing COVID-19 strictly, the order further stated.
