GUWAHATI: Assam reported 3 more COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. The new COVID-19 positive persons include an ambulance driver from Mumbai and two persons from Jorhat. However, the ambulance entered Assam with proper permission, said Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Replying to a Tweet, Dr. Sarma wrote, “The ambulance entered Assam with proper permission to bring back one blood cancer patient from Jorhat who happens to be son of one of the +patient. We do not have Covid-19 testing facilities in our border.”
