GUWAHATI: Rahimuddin, a resident of Bilasipara area in western Assam’s Dhubri district is the 29th COVID19 patient of the state. Though Rahimuddin did not attend Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi, he came into close contact with another COVID19 patient from the same district.
The person reportedly came into contact with Jamaluddin Hazi, the COVID19 patient from Chapar area of Dhubri district. Jamalduddin had returned from Tablighi Jamaat of Nizamuddin Markaz and met several people concealing his travel details. Rahimuddin also came into contact with Jamaluddin. Rahimuddin who is a resident of Hakama part one of Meder Alga in Bilasipara area tested COVID19 positive on Thursday. He is now being treated at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati .
