GUWAHATI: An election campaign office of United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) was set on fire by the miscreants in Chirang district on Thursday night.
The incident took place at Bhirangaon primary office of UPPL triggering sensation in the area as the model code of conduct for BTC election is in the force from Wednesday.
On the other hand, Kajalgaon block UPPL secretary Maneswar Khakhlary has blamed BPF workers for the incident. He alleged that BPF workers set the office on fire seeing immense support of the people to UPPL.
