Hagrama Mohilary is a businessman: Pramod Boro

GUWAHATI: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) president Pramod Boro alleged that Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary is a businessman who has business in so many sectors.

Attending a public meeting organised by All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) at Barimakha in Assam’s Baksa district, the former ABSU president said that BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary has business ranging from medical sector to hotels.

He also alleged that Mohilary collects commission for every work in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

Pramod Boro further alleged that Rs. 5 thousand crore provided by the centre to BTC administration has been misappropriated. He promised to take action against all the corruption in BTC once the UPPL comes to power.

Meanwhile, speaking on any possibility of an alliance with Naba Sarania-led Gana Suraksha Party, Pramod Boro said, “We can forge alliance with any party of ideological similarities.We will take decision after the declaration of election dates.”
