GUWAHATI: Assam Police has arrested husband of newly-wed Marcy Borah whose body was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at Bokoliaghat in Karbi Anglong.
Marcy’s husband Pranab Borah was arrested after his interrogation at Dokmoka Police Station on Thursday. According to reports, Pranab was in Mumbai when his wife was found dead on February 14.
Marcy came to prominence on Social Media with her videos of dancing at her wedding just two months ago.
The death of Social Media’s favourite bride sparked outrage across the state.
“We have arrested her husband and court has sent him to judicial custody,” said a police officer of Dokmoka Police Station.
