Guwahati: A man has been seriously injured in Maligaon area of Guwahati after he was attacked by a leopard today.
The man identified as Kumar Chetri was attacked by the leopard within his home premise.
It may be mentioned that Chetri was attacked by a Leopard on January 11. This is the second leopard attack he has faced within a week.
Though Chetri, a resident of Dal Basti, Madhav Nagar area of Maligaon sustained serious injuries in his hand, he somehow escaped from the clutches of the leopard. Later, he was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident has created panic among the locals.
