GUWAHATI: Saya Baruah from Tezpur has topped the charts in Miss/Mrs. India Global held in Mumbai recently.
Saya Baruah was the lone representative from Assam and the Northeast in the event. She is a resident of Rongapukhuripar, Tezpur.
Out of the 110 contestants from all over India, this Tezpur housewife won the hearts of the judges and the audience. Saya is a regular practitioner of body building and yoga and has earlier won many competitions. In the event, Saya performed traditional Bihu dance from Assam that was an instant hit.
Saya also won the Mrs Style Icon in the event and has been selected for the upcoming event in Singapore.
