GUWAHATI: Good news for the region as Northeast India got promoted at the national level by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.
PM Narendra Modi in his 6th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat 2.0’ radio programme, urged the countrymen to visit Northeast part of India. He even used twitter to spread awareness about visiting Northeast India famous for its natural beauty.

Modi praised the natural beauty of Northeast for its dense forest, waterfalls and its unique environment.
“Dense forests, waterfalls, if you want to see a unique type of environment, then I tell everyone to go to the Northeast. I always tell this fact and because of this I hope tourism will also increase a lot in the Northeast; the economy will also benefit a lot and the dream of ‘Ek Bharat! Shrestha Bharat!’ will also get strengthened there,” said PM Modi replying to a question at the programme.
