Darrang: A 13-year-old boy, Manjit Kalita from Darrang district in Assam has invented a Coconut Scrapping machine. This machine will help in scrapping the coconuts in a much easier way without consuming too much time.
Manjit Kalita, a student of class 8 from Nogaon Anchalik High School made this machine by using waste materials. The concept is quite unique as it will save the energy and time of an individual while scrapping the coconuts.
This is not the first time that he has invented such a machine. A few months back Manjit used waste materials to build an Excavator.
After every invention he makes sure that his invention is seen by his teachers, friends and his kith and kin. He is always being encouraged by his teachers and his parents.
“Since childhood, I have seen everyone struggling with coconuts as it is quite tough to scrap it and prepare snacks for festivals like Bihu, Puja etc. This is the main reason I thought of inventing this machine. I have interest in science and technology and want to do something in this field” said Manjit.
Manjit has used waste material such as ball bearings, wooden pieces and waste motors to build the coconut machine.
