GUWAHATI, Jan 15: A booze party among five friends went horribly wrong at Kahilipara in the heart of Guwahati after a young man was allegedly murdered by his four friends after a brawl erupted between them, the slain youth’s family has alleged.
Akash Choudhury (29), a resident of Kahilipara, had gone for a booze party along with four friends yesterday evening.
Akash’s family members alleged that a quarrel ensued between them after which he was assaulted by his friends resulting in his death.
The slain youth worked at a private firm besides also doubling as a Rapido driver, his mother told News Live, while seeking justice for her dead son.
Bhagadattapur Police have arrested the four friends who have been identified as Banjit Rajbangshi, Joinul Ali, Debabrata Mallick and Tarun Boragohain.
