GUWAHATI, Nov 18: Assamese singing superstar Zubeen Garg, the heartthrob of millions of fans and well-wishers, turned 53 today.
Many fans gathered at his music studio at Jonali in Guwahati to wish him a very happy birthday.
Zubeen did not disappoint his fans as he spent some happy moments with them, cutting birthday cakes fans and near and dear ones bought for him for the midnight celebrations.
“There is no special plans for the birthday as such. I am busy with my work. I will be busy with my work. I am grateful for the love and best wishes of everyone,” Zubeen said.
Replying to a query about his upcoming projects, he announced that an official announcement about his upcoming film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ might be made today.
“We might announce something about my upcoming film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ today. Work on the script is going on and we are planning to begin shooting after Dec 15,” he said.
Meanwhile, his fans and wellwishers from across the State and even those staying in other parts of the country and even abroad wished the superstar singer on his special day.
