GUWAHATI, Nov 1: New Zealand were 92 for 3 at lunch on Day 1 of the third and final test against India at the Wankhede in Mumbai.
Tom Latham won the toss yet again and had no hesitation in deciding to bat first.
But the visitors lost the wicket of opener Devon Conway who departed after making just 4 runs, trapped leg-before by Akash Deep. Washington Sundar then scalped two wickets, sending opener Latham (28) and Rachin Ravindra (5) as the visitors took lunch at 92/3.
The visitors have already won the series 2-0 after winning the first two tests while Team India are looking to avoid a rare Test whitewash at home.
