GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday inaugurated the automated multi-level car parking at Panbazar in Guwahati. The automated multi-level car parking built at heart of the city near Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital will greatly reduce the inconvenience of the car owners in parking their cars.
Assam Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Ashok Singhal and MP, Guwahati Lok Sabha constituency Queen Oja were present during the inaugural ceremony.
The facility is expected to address the haphazard car parking and traffic congestion to a great extent by giving a system of organized parking.
Also, authorities informed that the automated parking lots in Panbazar and Shraddhanjali Kanan, Zoo Road will be free to use till December 2021.
