Yamaha FZ-X launched in Guwahati; bookings start

PUBLISHED:

GUWAHATI: Yamaha launched the Yamaha FZ-X in Northeast India on Wednesday. The new motorcycle is available for booking at Luit Automobile Blue Square showroom located at Dispur opposite the Guwahati Tea Auction centre.

The motorcycle has an appealing look and differs a lot in terms of looks in comparison to the previous FZ-S model. Equipped with a full-LED headlamp fitted with aluminum brackets, the bike also comes with a projector headlamp. The motorcycle gets the same 150cc engine seen on the FZ and Fazer which produces a peak power of 12hp.

The body looks boxy especially because of the new boxy-looking fuel tanks and a tuck and roll seat design. The bike is available in three different colors- Matt Black, Matt Copper and Metallic Blue.

The latest upgrade is its lighter/ charging port and Bluetooth connectivity. Speaking to News live, Sanchita Chetri of the Luit Automobile Blue Square showroom said, “This is the first retro-look model bike launched by Yamaha in India. It has a 149-cc engine with a single-channel ABS. The tires are specially designed and can be easily used in off-road conditions. It comes with a charging point too. One can easily connect their mobile and get all notifications in the motorcycle display.”

“The engine is an air-cooled engine. Currently, bookings are on and deliveries will start within this month. This bike is available only in the Luit Yamaha showroom at the moment. The price of the motorcycle will be announced soon, Chetri added.”
